Yes, you can use our website for free as long as you want, but if you want to be a Premium Member and have access to several new features you need to upgrade your account to Premium.
Being a Premium Member you can use services that you only find on E-Chords.com! You can download BillionChords Dictionary, the best chords dictionary in the world for free!
Our video-lessons are added almost every day and you can share your online songbooks with friends or band mates, can download the songs in .txt and .pdf, upload them to your Dropbox and Google Drive and print them to take with you everywhere.
If you don’t have an account yet, click the sign up Premium button in our user menu. If you already have a free account, please, login to it by clicking the "login" button in our user menu and then on upgrade to premium.
PayPal is the only way to pay for an E-Chords premium account. If you don’t have a PayPal account, you can create one when purchasing your subscription or you can also use their website as a guest member.
Yes, you just need to link your credit card with your PayPal account to be able to use it to purchase a premium subscription.
When you purchase an E-Chords subscription we give you 15 days to test our website. You have to upgrade your account and if you don’t like being a premium member, you just have to contact us until 15 days using it and we will refund you money.
When you upgrade your account to premium, PayPal send the payment information to our system and it can take some time (some minutes or even a day) to update it. Please, logout and login to your account and contact us if you are still having problems to access it.
When you upgrade your account to Premium, you active an automatic recurring billing, but if some financial issue ocurres you will have problems to access the premium benefits. Please, take a look at the reasons and solutions below:
1 - You have been charged, but our system did not upgrade your account to Premium
Solution: Please, wait until the payment clears in our system. It can takes until 3 business days.
2 - You need to change your credit card information.
Solution: Please, access your PayPal account to update this information.
3 - Your PayPal account is cancelled.
Solution: PayPal is currently the only way to pay for an E-Chords premium account. You will need to purchase a new subscription by logging into your E-Chords account and upgrading it to Premium again.
4 - Check if you are logged into E-Chords using the correct username or email and password.
If you are absolutely sure that you want to stop your subscription with us, please follow the instructions below: solution 1: Stop the Recurring Billing in PayPal:
- Log in to your PayPal account.
- Click on "Activity" and then on "Advanced Filters".
- Click on My Preapproved Payments.
- Click on "View the Agreement" next to the merchant agreement you want to cancel.
- Click on "Cancel" or "Cancel automatic billing" and follow the instructions.
solution 2: You can also contact PayPal Customer Service by phone:
- Go to the PayPal Customer Service page.
- Click on "Call us" at the bottom of the page.
- Log in to your PayPal account.
solution 3: But, if you think this is a lot of work, we can do it for you as well.
Just contact us, sending your username, email or your subscription number/profile ID and we’ll do it for you.

First of all, you need to be logged into your account. Then,you have to access the songs page and click "correct", read the instructions and make the necessary changes. The correction will be available as soon as possible.
Click "request a video" in our top left menu. Enter the artist and song title, as well as your email address in the blanks and click "submit".
E-Chords video lessons are published in HTML5 format. This means that if you are logged in as a Premium Member and running a modern, up-to-date browser, you will be able to watch the videos.
If you don’t remember your password, you need to click the "Forgot Password" button on the login area. If you don’t know your email address or login registered, please contact us and we will help you.
After logging in, click "edit my profile" in the user menu. Under Account Information, enter your password and password confirmation. Click the "save" button at the bottom of the page.
You need to open the software, click "Help" and "About". Note down the Serial (it is not possible to copy it) and send us. The Serial should not be "00000000" or "000000000". If necessary, you will need to uninstall it and reinstall it. You can download BillionChords Dictionary here
Unfortunately, BillionChords is not available to Apple devices.

Before you fill up the form bellow, please note the following points:
- If you are experiencing troubles viewing part of the music, printing the lyrics or any other kind of trouble, please read our FAQ above.
- If you wish to request some music, do it by clicking here and be sure that the music does not exist in the site by doing a search by artist, music title or even by lyric part.
- If you want to request your BillionChords activation code please send us the serial number of your software, your username and, if possible, the number of your transaction.
- If you’d like to request some music by email keep in mind that we’ll only answer you after the music is found.
- If your going to ask us something regarding your account please provide your login name.
- We’ll answer your email as soon as possible but it’s not guaranteed to be done immediately due to the huge requests we receive everyday.
